COURSE DESCRIPTION

In the course, the student learns about the theoretical foundations of organizational structures, including forms, types, constitutive aspects, change management processes and interactions between structure objects. At the end of the course, the student will be able to continuously design a structure appropriate to the organization and plan its most effective operation, and be able to plan and implement change while avoiding negative risks.

CONTENT

1. Structures and forms of an organization. Aspects forming the structures of organizations, their historical development.
2. Functional, project-oriented, matrix and multidimensional organizations, their advantages and disadvantages. Innovation in business.
3. Basic principles of change management in the organization. Identification of process, product, result in change management.
4. 8 steps of change management: identification, definition of stakeholder values, development of a change plan, evaluation process data, communication process for change management, risk monitoring, measuring success; review and continuous improvement of results.
5. Innovation and its role in business. Leadership and the role of the team in the success of the organization.
6. The influence of individual's changes on the process of change management in the organization.
7. Analysis of stakeholders within the organisation and their role in the implementation of change. Cultural differences in different environments.
8. Different change management models in organizations.
