The survival of today's economy requires effective business management. Ventspils University of Applied Sciences together with Rezekne Academy of Technologies and Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences has developed a joint doctoral program that provides international knowledge on the most important aspects of economics and provides for the development of related research and data analysis.
The goals of the program are to prepare doctors of science in management science and highly qualified specialists and researchers, thus strengthening management science as a branch of science in Latvia and making a significant contribution to the development of business and enterprises.
Doctoral studies include the preparation of doctoral theses, monographs, textbooks and resources, as well as scientific publications; discussion of doctoral research results, incl. approbation of results: publications and presentations at conferences and seminars; preparation and defense of doctoral dissertations; promotion of scientific research results in international conferences and seminars, as well as in popular scientific publications.
