Accessibility of Higher Education for Persons with Functional Impairments


Environmental accessibility for persons with mobility impairments:

  • ramps at the entrances to the university;
  • parking spaces for persons with disabilities;
  • elevators in all buildings;
  • restrooms for people with special needs;
  • a dormitory room with facilities for people with special needs;
  • library desks accessible to people with mobility impairments.


Environmental accessibility for persons with visual impairments:

  • floor color markings in Building D;
  • glass surface markings in Building D;
  • the first and last steps of staircases are marked.


In 2019, reconstruction works were carried out during which a passenger elevator was installed, restrooms were equipped on every floor, and an indoor lift was installed in the passage between Buildings A and B, taking into account the requirements for people with special needs.
