The Total Costs of the Project: EUR 229,800.00. Planned European Social Fund amounts to 85% of eligible expenditure – EUR 195,330.00, the amount from the government funding is 15% of the eligible expenditure – EUR 33,470.00.

Brief Description of the Project: Improve the quality of the content of the VUAS study programmes and ensure better management of available resources, provide better governance of higher educational institutions and the capacity, and improving the competences and skills of management staff.

Project Activities: 
Project-specific goals are:

• Improving the quality of study programmes by modernising the content of studies and by introducing innovative training methods and e-learning solutions.
• Improve the assessment system of the students, the assessment system of the lecturers, as well as ensure academic integrity by promoting cooperation with other Latvian universities.
• Ensuring good governance of higher education institutions through the further development of the QMS (quality management system), as well as the implementation of document and information management e-solutions.

Project Results: Implementation of the project will improve the quality of the content of the VUAS study programmes by promoting the modernisation of study programmes in line with the development of the sector, as well as by providing a student-centred education through the introduction of student evaluation based on the results of their studies.
