Project Name: REDucing the Cybersecurity Management Skills Gap in SMEs
On 1 October, 2018 Ventspils University of Applied Sciences, as one of the partners of the project, and limited liability company SIA Baltijas Datoru akadēmija , as the lead partner, have entered into an agreement on the implementation of the Erasmus+ programme strategic partnership project ‘REDucing the Cybersecurity Management Skills Gap in SMEs’ (No. 2018-1-LV01-KA202-046986).
The aim of the project is to develop a training programme for cybersecurity managers of small and medium-sized companies. Ventspils University of Applied Sciences in cooperation with the lead partner and other partners of the project will perform the following duties:
- Create a cybersecurity management skill competency card, including description of cybersecurity management skills and identification of differences in partner countries.
- Draft training materials
- Develop training methodologies
- Develop and implement online training platform
- Implement competence acquisition and certification by ensuring examination process and issuing of Europass certificates (European Skills Passport).
Total funding of the project of the European Union Erasmus+ programme is EUR 243,756.00, including EUR 20, 490.00 funding of Ventspils University of Applied Sciences.
