COURSE DESCRIPTION

The study course provides students with the opportunity to gain practical entrepreneurial experience by
actively participating in real events: hackathons, business idea competitions, design workshops and
other entrepreneurship-related events. During the semester, students independently search for and
attend events organized by Ventspils University of Applied Sciences or external events previously
approved by the study course lecturer, accumulating a total of 32 contact hours. At the end of the study
course, students submit a report with certificates of the events attended. The course builds a direct
connection between the academic environment and the real entrepreneurial ecosystem, enabling
students to learn from practitioners and peers in authentic settings.
