Methods of interpretation and classification I (master level)

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Machine learning methods make it possible to carry out a wide range of image and video analysis tasks. The course examines methods that are used in the pre-processing or post-processing stages of machine learning workflows to improve accuracy. The image morphology algorithms included in the first part of the course allow you to modify images based on the shape of objects. In the second part of the course, segmentation methods are studied since they are a mandatory pre-processing step if classic, statistics-based machine learning algorithms are employed. The knowledge learned in theory lectures is used practically by programming algorithms and trying solutions from Python libraries
