COURSE DESCRIPTION

Students are offered to explore the essence and definition of business ethics, along with its components and principles. They are taught to understand the significance of a Code of Ethics, its types, functions, and differences, while creating personal codes. Also, they analyze Cyberbullying, Anti-Money Laundering, and Bribery with legal frameworks and consequences through case studies. A focus is also put on Corporate Social Responsibility, stakeholder engagement, governance, and accountability. During the studies students are introduced to Intellectual Property Ethics, workplace ethics, and ethical considerations in marketing, as well as taught about technology's ethical aspects, including surveillance, privacy, manipulation, and environmental impact. The course is concluded with a review of ethics' importance in various life aspects to gain a comprehensive understanding of business ethics for an ethical corporate culture.
