Science
For Ventspils University of Applied Sciences (VUAS) the scientific work and research has been one of the main activities since it was founded in 1997. Back then it was called Ventspils University College (VUC) but since 2019 the name has been changed to Ventspils University of Applied Sciences.
Using the opportunity to attract external funding, VUAS provides favorable conditions for scientific activity - installation of new laboratories with modern equipment.
For twenty years, VUAS and its structural units have been involved in the implementation of more than 50 important science, research and infrastructure development projects
