Total Costs of the Project: EUR 262,751.76. Planned amount of the European Union Regional Development Fund is 85.00% of the eligible expenses – EUR 223,339.00, and the amount of state funding is 15% of the eligible expenses – EUR 39,412.76.


Brief Description of the Project:
The aim of the project is the involvement of Ventspils University of Applied Sciences and its research units (Institute of Engineering Ventspils International Radio Astronomy Centre, Smart Technology Research Centre and the Centre for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Regional Development, as well as departments) in networking activities, strengthening cooperation with partners, incl. engaging in collaborative consortia to promote the growth and integration of collaborative projects in the infrastructures of the European Strategy Forum for Research Infrastructures.


Project Activities:

  1. Preparation of Horizon 2020 and EU 9th Framework Program international cooperation projects.
  2. Organising international scientific conferences.
  3. Ensuring participation in the JIV-ERIC consortium.
  4. Project Management:
  5. Publicity events.
  6. Workplace equipment.
  7. Purchase of health insurance policies.


Project Results: 10 international cooperation projects prepared and evaluated above the threshold; 5 international scientific conferences were organized, 1 consortium plan was implemented, 76 publicity events were organised, 2 workplaces (hardware and software kits) were equipped, 4 health insurance policies were partially paid.
