“CREAzone / Reinvent”

LLI-186 CREAzone 2.0

On September 18, 2018 Ventspils University of Applied Sciences signed a partnership agreement for the participation in the CREAzone 2.0 (No. LLI-186) within Interreg V-A 2014 – 2020 Latvian – Lithuanian program. CREAzone/Reinvent is a unique youth business project, and its goal is to help young people combine business models and creativity in organic, new and -promising businesses. The target group consists of 240 young people form Latvia and Lithuania aged 18 to 25.


The project is split into five stages, with a total duration of 7 months. During the implementation of the project young people will gain not only practical knowledge on how to develop their business idea, but will also learn about current business world issue.


The number of participants will be organised by the funnel principle, meaning, that after every stage the number of participants will be decreased till every next stage, inviting the most progressive and the most motivated participants form the previous stage.


The tasks of the project are following:

  • Change the young people’s passive attitude towards their active wish to become entrepreneurs and provide them with business ideas.
  • Teach the young people and provide them with practical skills that would help them create business ideas, carefully assess them and build a team that would implement existing ideas.
  • Provide the participants with the competence and the necessary tools for creating a stable business plan, as well as support the participants in the implementation of their plans and commencing their entrepreneurship.


The target audience of the project are the students of professional schools, colleges and universities, as well as any other young people, if they can prove their sufficiency of experience and motivation for achieving success in the project.
