Brief Description of the Project: 

14-day intensive programmes will take place over the course of the project involving four students and two lecturers from seven member countries (Latvia, Portugal, France, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania and Spain). Acquisition of transversal competences in business, law and technologies necessary for translators/interpreters will take place in forms of lectures, seminars, practical sessions, video conferencing and workshops. 

Over the course of the project two intellectual result packages will be created:

• Pedagogical portfolio: Creation and Functioning of a Translation Agency;
• Collection of materials Expectations and Reality: Finding Balance between Education and Profession.

The Aim of the Project:

• Improve the quality of higher education in order to match the requirements of the labour market (comparison of study programmes and integration of best practice).
• Strengthen multilingualism (French and English + national languages) and multidisciplinarity (acquisition of languages, translation, business administration and communication technologies); ).
• Promote international cooperation in higher education institutions (through further exchanges of university lecturers and students).
• Promote implementation of innovative activities in higher education (through offering new modules for working online).
  Exchange best practice in the education (particularly in the area of cooperation with internship sites).
