Project Aim: Study the current change processes in modern Latvian. The features of the Latvian language in Ventspils, Piltene, Valdemārpils, Sabile and Kandava will be discussed in the context of lexicosemantics.
Significance of Project Results: Deeper study of the features of modern Latvian language and development of trends, the obtained results will help to improve the integration process of the Latvian society, because its integration policy is based not only on the preservation of language, culture, national, and ethnic identity, but also on a single information space, as well as on ensuring equal participation opportunities for all groups of society.
