THEO Receives €350,000 to Accelerate Startup Growth
TechChill, the annual technology and startup conference, brings together entrepreneurs, investors, and tech enthusiasts to explore the latest trends, innovations, and opportunities in the tech sector. Actively participating in this event are both students and graduates of the Startup Management study programme—many of whom serve as part of the event’s planning team, team leaders, and volunteers.
A significant highlight of this year's TechChill was the outstanding success of the Startup Management programme's first director, Guntis Čoders, and graduate Mārtiņš Ermanis, who secured an impressive €350,000 in funding for their startup THEO.
THEO stood out among 50 competing startups during the Fifty Founders Battle 2025, a key event of TechChill, where participants pitch their ideas on stage in front of top investors for a chance to win up to €710,000 in total funding. THEO earned €250,000 in investments and an additional €100,000 prize, receiving half of the available funding pool.
Congratulations to the THEO team on this outstanding achievement! We are proud and wish you every success on the journey to becoming Latvia’s next unicorn!
About the Startup
THEO is an innovative solution that helps businesses leverage artificial intelligence (AI) more effectively in marketing and strategy.
It tackles a core issue: mainstream AI tools like ChatGPT often lack a deep understanding of a company's unique context, including its business model, positioning, products, market conditions, and customer base.
THEO solves this by creating and maintaining a dynamic knowledge base—acting as a company’s “second brain” or digital twin for marketing. It transforms internal materials into AI-friendly formats that power a smart AI assistant.
This assistant serves as a co-pilot across teams—from marketing to leadership—helping them use AI more efficiently, increase productivity, and eliminate bottlenecks within the organisation.
