Ventspils University of Applied Sciences Graduation Ceremony

On 18th of June, a graduation ceremony took place in the garden of Ventspils University of Applied Sciences (VUAS). 126 graduates of VUAS received their diplomas at the graduation ceremony in the summer of 2022, 6 of whom obtained a first-level professional higher education diploma, 79 – a bachelor's degree, and 41 – a master's degree.

The ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Ventspils City Council Jānis Vītoliņš, the Rector of VUAS Kārlis Krēsliņš, as well as other representatives from VUAS staff, graduates and their relatives. The event was hosted by the actor and broadcaster Andris Bulis, with musical accompaniment by musician Goran Gora.

The Rector of VUAS Kārlis Krēsliņš and the Vice-Rector of Studies Una Libkovska also congratulated the most outstanding graduates. This year 16 graduates received this recognition. Two of them were our international students Rohit Gupta from the bachelor's study programme “Computer Science” and Suzan Nompumelelo Zungu from master's study programme "International Business and Export Management".
