Freshman Go – first event for new students

On September 3rd at 12.00 Freshman Go will take place in the VUAS garden, in which all students who will start their studies this year are invited to participate. Freshman Go is an orientation game in which new students are randomly divided into teams in order to get to know each other by performing various tasks together.


During the Go, students will go for a walk around Ventspils, where at each checkpoint the Student Council has prepared tasks that the team must complete together. Every team that takes a picture at one of the sightseeing points will get extra points. The main rule when participating in the Go – you can’t use any kind of vehicles. If the rule is violated, the team is disqualified.


The purpose of the Freshman Go is to introduce young students to Ventspils, as well as to provide an opportunity to make new friends.
